Writing Workshops
The writers return once again this year, something for all ages and experience. Participate in one of two (or both!) writer's masterclass workshop with published writer and TAFE lecturer Sue Flemming or; writer, editor and proofreader Heather Britton. A workshop is also being held with local family history writer, Gwen Waters and Sunday will see the return of the Writers Forum.

Creative Art Workshops
From fabric workshops at Church Streets Habit Patch to Bowen Estate's Barrelhead to Artwork III with Karin Seja or Hollick's photography Picture Perfect Tutorial with Joanna Fincham there really is something to please every creative soul.. Make sure you check out the programme to view every workshop available! There truly are many!

Musical Workshops
Songwriting with Telstra Road to Discovery finalst Christy Wallce and mandolin, banjo, double bass, fiddle and guitar workshops. Take your pick!

Little Kids, Big Kids Art Zone
For the budding 'young' artist, don't forget to check out the 'Little Kids, Big Kids Art Zone' in the programme for information on the huge amount of workshops and events including the inaugural Penola Junior Chef Competition, bead making with Coastal Treasures, the amazing Trickstar Footballers, clay sculpting workshop, hip hop workshop, African drumming workshop, grafitti workshop and the list goes on and on!

Gastronomy & Festive Food
There's a multitude of festive food options available throughout the festival in Penola and Coonawarra. From lamb pizziaola, tepanyaki style produce, chorizo and chilli tasting, pasta, arancini, pasties, chocolate brownies and delectable café and restaurant meals. Don't forget to check in on the inaugural Penola Junior Chef Competition too!

Coonawarra Comedy Club
at Wynns Coonawarra at 7pm

Four of SA’s hottest stand up comedians are coming to Wynns to make you giggle. It’s going to be a hilarious night of stand up comedy from some of SA’s funniest! Hurry, tickets are limited!! Doors open at 7.00pm for a 8.00pm start at Wynns Coonawarra Estate. Tickets $25 per person and can be booked through Wynss Coonawarra, telephone 8736 2225.

Coonawarra Chananingins Part 1
at Coonawarra Hall, 8pm

Get Saturday night jumping with a cracking night of music. Bluegrass band ‘Hardrive’ will get you ready before the jump and jive of a return performance of ‘The Jump Daddy’s’. Get ready to dance all night long. $25 entry or $10 entry (after 11pm). Food and drinks available for purchase. Bookings can be made through the Penola Coonawarra Visitor Information Centre, 08 8737 2855.
