Our Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival was one of four recipients honoured by UNESCO, Adelaide Chapter in 2015 ‘for an outstanding contribution to the regional cultural life of South Australia, promoting all facets of the Arts, and cultural tourism.’

The Festival has grown to become “one of South Australia’s leading arts festivals,” said Mrs Helen Rice, Adelaide United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Chairperson.

In 2013 our Festival was awarded an South Australian Regional Award, from Brand South Australia. This award highlights individuals or organisations that have made significant contribution to their region and the State over a twelve month period.

A long history of success

Our Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival will be celebrating it’s 26th year in 2017. This is an amazing effort for a non-profit organisation run by a passionate committee of volunteers.

Our Festival celebrates the literary and arts heritage of Penola, the fine wines of Coonawarra and its premium regional produce. Since its inception, our Festival has attracted major events and exhibitions that appeal a broad demographic. This is a festival that truly has no age limit.

We have five partnership levels to offer and all contributions are tax deductible;

1. Partner with the Festival: $5,000 and above

Become a Partner of our Festival and your company will have naming rights for one of the following Festival organised events:

  1. OUR 2017 FESTIVAL Would you like naming rights to our 26th Festival? Talk to our team about how.
  2. MAJOR FAMILY EVENT The major family event for our Festival. Previous acts include the Adelaide Fringe’s Sticks Stones Broken Bones. Typically around 200 tickets are sold.
  3. MAJOR MUSIC EVENT The major music event for the Festival is Coonawarra Shenanigans, an eclectic mix of established and up and coming bands. Typically held on the Saturday night, with around 350 tickets sold.
  4. OPERA EVENT A gala event with sell out crowds every year. Previous acts include Cosi Fan Tutte. Typically held on Thursday night with around 200 tickets sold.

2. Sponsor the Festival

Sponsoring the Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival gives your business the opportunity to connect with the greater Limestone Coast community, build brand awareness and show your company’s support for an important cause: country arts and culture.We have two sponsorship levels, and all contributions are tax deductible.

Gold Sponsors: $2,500-$4,999

  • You will receive 4 tickets to attend the Arts Festivals gala event Co- Opera.
  • You will be invited to the Program Launch Night – a media event where you can build brand awareness and network with local media and other business leaders.
  • You will be invited to the Festival Opening Night, where we open the Festival and announce the winner of the John Shaw Neilson Acquisitive Art Prize and the Design Prize.
  • As a Gold Sponsor your logo will appear on all promotional material including: programs, posters, invitations, media releases, website, and formal correspondence.
  • As a Partner you can have branding, relevant content and links to your own website published on the Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival website and social media page.
  • You will have the opportunity to supply additional branded material for use during the Festival.
  • You will receive first access to tickets, before they go on sale to the general public.

Silver Sponsors: $500-$2,499

  • You will receive 2 tickets to attend the Arts Festivals gala event Co-Opera.
  • You will be invited to the Program Launch Night – a media event where you can build brand awareness and network with local media and other business leaders.
  • You will be invited to the Festival Opening Night, where we open the Festival and announce the winner of the John Shaw Neilson Acquisitive Art Prize and the Design Prize.
  • As a Silver Sponsor your logo will appear on all promotional material including: programs, posters, invitations, media releases, website and formal correspondence.
  • You will have the opportunity to supply additional branded material for use during the Festival.
  • You will receive first access to tickets, before they go on sale to the general public.
  • Our team will work with you to identify what your business could achieve through a partnership with our Festival. We want to make sure we deliver the benefits that align with your investment.

3. In Kind Silver Sponsors: $500-$2999

Many unique businesses and supporters offer in kind contributions of products, time and services, these can be of any value and are categorised as In Kind Sponsors. To become a In Kind Silver Sponsor businesses have invested between $500-$2999 worth of product or their services. Please speak to our team for more information.

  • You will be invited to the Program Launch Night, where you will get a sneak peak of the program before the general public.
  • You will be invited to the Festival Opening Night, where we open the Festival and announce the winner of the John Shaw Neilson Acquisitive Art Prize and the Design Prize.
  • As an In Kind Sponsor your logo/name will appear on some of the promotional material including: programs & website.
  • As an In Kind Sponsor you will receive an electronic newsletter updating you on developing News and Events for the 2017 Festival.
  • You will receive first access to tickets.

4. In Kind Sponsors

In Kind sponsors are businesses or individuals who donate goods or services rather than a monetary investment.

5. Friends of the Festival for Businesses: $50 or more
