Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival Design Prize
2008 Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival Design Prize
$1000
Now in its fifth year the prize is seeking entrants for
this year's competition. The challenge? To create the
2009 design concept for South Australia's leading
regional arts festival. The rewards? The winner will
receive $1000 with two runner-up prizes of one dozen
Coonawarra wines. Celebrate creativity and excellence by
designing a poster for the Penola Coonawarra Arts
Festival in 2009. We are still accepting expressions
of interest.
The 2008 Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival Design Prize

finalists will be on show at The Poplars Winery Cellar
Door Precinct, Riddoch Highway, Coonawarra.

2008 John Shaw Neilson Acquisitive Art Prize $5000
2008 Robert Riddoch Rymill Memorial Art Prize $500
This prize celebrates the poetry of John Shaw Neilson
and his connection to Penola. Create a 2D art work,
suitably framed and ready for hanging, the subject of
which will be the inspiration gained from the poetry of
John Shaw Neilson. Artist's entries from the Wattle
Range Council area are eligible for the Robert Riddoch
Rymill Memorial prize. Exhibition will be on show at Local Images Gallery,
Church Street, Penola.
